What kind of events does the fig rig cater?

You name it and we will be there! Just contact us with your request.

 

How do I book an event with the fig rig?

It’s easy – just fill out the Event Request Form, and we’ll respond to you with availability and cost. OR, give us a call at 707-933-3000 and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Once you’re ready to secure the available event date, let us know. We’ll email a contract for you to sign and return, along with a deposit of 50% of the food and beverage minimum. The balance is due upon the completion of your event.

 

What is your cancellation policy?

If your event is cancelled 30 days or more prior to the event date, the full deposit amount will be refunded. For cancellations 15-29 days prior to the event date, 50% of the deposit amount will be refunded and 14 days or less prior to the event date, the full deposit amount will be retained.

 

What services do we offer when booking a private event?

Custom menu design and event organization - Biodegradable and recyclable service ware including: plates, napkins, cups and utensils. 

 

How long will the fig rig be at my event?

The minimum charge entitles you to two and a half hours of service time for events. Additional time will be charged $100 per 30 minutes.

 

Do I need a permit for the fig rig to cater my event?

If the location is your privately owned property, no permit is necessary. If it is public property, you are responsible for obtaining the event location and securing any necessary permits. A map of how to get to your location and where you want the the fig rig placed is appreciated. the fig rig maintains the right to relocate the truck if the site is not suitable. Please check with your city for permit requirements.

 

How much space does the fig rig require?

the fig rig requires 25 feet of parking space, with a 14 feet overhead clearance and a driveway width of at least 12 feet. Due to the weight of the the fig rig, we require a firm and level surface for parking.

 

Once I receive a price quote, will the price remain the same?

A price quote is good for 60 days. Beyond that, unless a contract is signed by both you and the fig rig, the cost will be based on our current pricing.

 

Do you require a minimum order for private events?

Yes, our food and beverage minimum to hold a private event at your location is $1,800, including holidays, plus a discretionary gratuity and applicable tax.

 

Do you provide cocktails, beer and wine?

Yes, for private events only, please inquire about the cost and details.

 

Do we need to provide our own trash cans?

Yes, the fig rig does not provide trash cans for private events.

 

Does the fig rig provide silverware and plates? What about tables and chairs?

Yes, we do provide biodegradable/recyclable service ware including: utensils, plates, napkins and cups. We are able to assist in coordinating renting silverware, plates, tables and chairs and any other rental needs you may like.

 

How far in advance should I book the fig rig?

the fig rig is booked on a "first come, first served" basis. Longer lead times are always beneficial. All catered events must be booked no later than two weeks before the event.

 

What form of payments do you accept for private events?

the fig rig accepts cash and major credit cards.
